Description
The CDI works on these vehicles:
Honda Dominator NX500 PD08 years ' to '
Honda Dominator NX650 years ' to '
Honda XR650L RD06 years to yy
with or without side stand switch.
It replaces the CDI type MN9 CI554
This CDI was developed from the Transalp-CDI (H003) and especially adjusted to the Dominator.
It was tested in the vehicle as well as on a dyno.
If you have any information or adjustments regarding the models on which this CDI works
please be so kind and let us know. We are open for it.
Installation for vehicles with side stand switch
First check if the engine runs propperly with this hardware.
Put down the side stand pull the clutch and engage a gear - the engine wont stop.
Now go on a long test trip best for several km (miles for the lonely guys in the US).
In case the CDI does not work properly please get in touch with us.
Most vehicles have a side stand switch that must be activated.
Therefore cut the colored wire and repeat the test with the side stand.
This time the engine should stop.
